A Reflection on Aging

Meet the Founder

Melinda Luss-Bickham, a product of the 60s, believes aging should be embraced with confidence, grace, and authenticity. Inspired by her entrepreneurial upbringing and lifelong passion for learning, she later built EVB Skincare with a purpose rooted in natural skincare, wellness, and sustainable living.

A Personal Struggle

For years, Melinda struggled to find skincare products that worked well for her sensitive skin and eczema without causing irritation. Many products designed for aging skin felt harsh rather than nourishing.

During the 2020 pandemic, many of the products Melinda relied on became unavailable or changed their formulations, causing irritation to her sensitive skin. This inspired her to begin researching gentle, plant-based alternatives and eventually create her own skincare solutions.

Discovering the Power of Nature

Through her research, Melinda discovered the calming benefits of plants, seeds, oils, and herbs known for nourishing delicate skin. What started as a personal search for relief soon became a deeper passion for creating thoughtful skincare solutions.

Her journey eventually led her to source high-quality ingredients from regions including Africa, India, and Morocco — shaping the foundation of EVB’s plant-based philosophy.

EVB was created with the belief that skincare should feel gentle, comforting, and empowering. Every formulation is designed to support all skin types, especially sensitive, aging skin, through carefully selected plant-based ingredients and intentional care.
